The hotel had a sun terrace with nice views and a snack bar, which was convenient. The free shuttle service and private parking were also a plus. The hotel was well located for exploring the area's attractions.
The hotel's excellent facilities and services somehow forgot to include basic things like water or coffee in the room. Such attention to detail!

Effie Hotel had a lovely sun terrace with stunning views of the monastery. The free shuttle service was a nice touch, and the 24-hour front desk made it easy to get assistance anytime. The hotel truly embraced Greek culture and tradition.
Who needs drinking water in a jug or staff at the reception? It's much more fun to go on an adventure searching for water and coffee.

The friendly owners, Mme Elenie & Mme Effie, made us feel welcome and the rooms were very clean. We were impressed with the free parking space and the convenience of transportation to and from the ferry port. The hotel's traditional Greek style and charming decoration transported me back in time. The well-maintained general areas created a cozy atmosphere, making it a perfect choice for senior people like myself. The hotel's central location and close proximity to the port, bars, restaurants, and the sea made it very convenient for exploring and enjoying the beauty of Skala.
If I were to ask for a better vacation, I would suggest the children working there to provide more assistance to senior guests to ensure their comfort throughout their stay.

I had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel in Patmos. The person who greeted me was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel like I was staying with family. The location was peaceful and convenient, close to the port and restaurants. The room was cleaned every day, and I particularly loved the two balconies with amazing views of the bougainvilleas. The beds were a bit too hard, and the bathroom was small and prone to getting wet during showers. Breakfast was simple but okay, although I would have liked to see more variety like a toaster, fresh fruits, and additional tea flavors. Despite these minor drawbacks, I definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Patmos.
